Scouting and Planning with AI Precision
This week, I finally made time to put XHUNT™ to the test in the field — and the results couldn’t have been better.
On Wednesday, I scouted a nearby public hunting area and ran the AI Field Report inside XHUNT. The analysis looked promising: favorable movement patterns, consistent wind direction, and strong evening conditions. Using the built-in mapping tools and my wind approach plate, I identified a natural funnel that looked ideal for intercepting deer traffic.

Even though I couldn’t get back until Thursday at 4 p.m., the winds held steady, which meant my original plan still stood.

The Hunt
By 6 p.m., the first doe appeared — right where XHUNT predicted. She had been spooked earlier by a pheasant hunter and worked her way straight down the funnel toward my stand.

At 7 p.m., a group of at least eight does filtered in and paused in the same 20-yard window directly in front of my pin.
One didn’t get a chance to spook. I released the shot at 7:01 p.m., just 13 minutes before legal light ended. Perfect timing.
Rather than risk pushing her deeper into the next county, I backed out to track later that evening.

Mapping the Recovery
During the recovery, I tested a new Track Log function I just added to XHUNT for mapping retrieval paths and blood trails.
It worked beautifully — and I already have ideas for how to make it even better in the next update.

Reflection
I couldn’t be happier with how XHUNT™ performed. It’s one thing to build an AI hunting tool — it’s another to see it guide you, in real conditions, to a clean and successful harvest.
Nature provided the opportunity. XHUNT™ just provided the map.
The freezer will be full this winter, and I’m deeply grateful for that bounty.
